Handmade History Summer Camp

Join City Museum staff this summer for 1/2 Day Camps!

We will explore “Handmade History,” with all hands-on activities focusing on how early settlers of West Chicago made their own decorative, functional, and entertainment objects. We will even make some food items like butter and jelly!

Wednesday, August 12th: Entertainment Objects

There was plenty of work for the early settlers, but they also had time for play. Make a corn-husk doll, a hand-made instrument, and your very own homemade ring toss game.

WHEN: All camps run 9:30 a.m.—12:00 noon
WHO: Ages 4—14 (Campers will be split into ages 4‐8 and 9‐14 for the best possible learning experience)
COST: $5.00 per camper (to cover supplies) Discounted for multiple children from same family
