Handmade History Summer Camp

Join City Museum staff this summer for 1/2 Day Camps!

We will explore “Handmade History,” with all hands-on activities focusing on how early settlers of West Chicago made their own decorative, functional, and entertainment objects. We will even make some food items like butter and jelly!

Wednesday, July 15th: Functional Objects

Need to wash your hands? Want to write a letter? You may have had to make functional items like soap and stationary yourself. We will try our hand at these objects, as well as ink and hand brooms.

WHEN: All camps run 9:30 a.m.—12:00 noon

WHO: Ages 4—14 (Campers will be split into ages 4‐8 and 9‐14 for the best possible learning experience)

COST: $5.00 per camper (to cover supplies) Discounted for multiple children from same family
